Each year, The Michigan Association of Counties Conference provides a great opportunity to get in front of local leaders from all 83 Michigan Counties. This annual event brings together Michigan’s County Commissioners and other communities leaders for three days of workshops, networking, and policy discussion. In all, Michigan has 622 County Commissioners, the majority of whom attend this event. This year’s event was held at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan over the last weekend.
MOGA has exhibited at this event for several years, and seized the opportunity again this year, as it provides a unique platform with which to share the great work our industry does in counties across the state. In addition to showcasing Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund projects and the industry’s positive economic impact across the state, we’ve been able to speak on Michigan’s critical infrastructure and the importance of ensuring the safe transport of energy to meet the needs of Michiganders. Continued outreach and communication with Michigan’s local leaders helps us stay connected with community.
