Analysts: U.S. Oil and Gas Production Will Continue to Climb

Oil production is booming in the United States and, according to analysts, there's no reason to expect that to stop.

According to this CNBC report, American oil production has grown about 9 percent over the past eight months, climbing to 9.3 million barrels.

That recovery is seen continuing after OPEC's decision last week to keep a lid on production for another nine months, a move that helps to prop up oil prices.
