Senate Approves Energy Bill

The U.S. Senate approved an energy bill this week that looks to improve infrastructure in response to an increase in oil and gas production across the nation.

The legislation, which passed the Senate 85-12, doesn't seem to contain any major policy changes or initiatives according to media reports but does expedite federal permitting processes for pipelines and natural-gas exports.
