On October 31 Keep Our Lakes Great Ballot Committee (KOLG) announced that they would be ending their ballot campaign to shut down Line 5. Line 5 is the pipeline responsible for carrying essential energy to the Upper and Northern Lower Peninsula residents and businesses, as well as transporting over 50% of Michigan’s crude oil to refineries.

The Amended Quarterly Campaign Finance Statement for October 2017 shows that KOLG has a total of $634.36 on hand.
